Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the great web page!!!!
It's great to see everyone again even though it is not in person. I am back in Germany for the last two years and just came back from Legoland with Oma Joyce. I have two wonderful kids at times of course but we all had fun today! I will post some more pic's later just wanted to give evryone a quick glimpse. My wife Carmen is the one who took the picture so obviously she is not in the pic. I will have to send an update picture real soon.

Hi Cyr Family, Having a great time in Germany. Sounds like a fun time in Maine next summer. We shall look into our expenses for tickets for four flying back to the States. I'm hoping most of the cousins make it. Us old folks will sit back and drink beer while the younger ones get to know eachother.

Hello Cyr family! First things first, Kevin and Doug, thank you both for organizing this whole thing! It will very exciting to see everyone. Since I've lost touch with all of you except for my two brothers, I figure I should give you a brief update of my life. I'm not married, I don't have kids, I don't have a dog and I don't have a home. I like to keep things simple :) I'm a toy designer working for a company called Wild Planet toys. The company is located in San Francisco where I lived for the last 8 years. But right now, I'm living in Hong Kong. The company moved me out here about 2 months ago to help the development process go smoother. All of our manufacturing is done in China (of course) so HK becomes the center of business. It's a little crazy and crowded, but it's been a great experience so far. This is the view from my office. Certainly different from Madawaska!

I'm so excited about this whole event. It definitely is a "blast from the past". I have often wondered what so many of "the cousins" are doing: I know we lose touch as we become involved in our own lives and our own families. I can't wait to meet your wives, husbands, children, etc., and to simply relax and have fun with the family. I remember going to the lake and playing volleyball, having cookouts (poor tante Madeline, for I realize now that I'm an adult, how we "ate her out of house and home), and hanging out around bonfires at night. These are the things that I would definitely love to do again for next summer. The only thought I had for accommodating such a large crowd of cousins would be to book the "Gateway" hotel ASAP since the probable reunion date would be around the same time as the Acadia festival. I know "The Gateway" isn't exactly the "Hilton", but can they block out a certain amount of rooms, much like you would do for a wedding party?

Have you settled with Madawaska as far as where we are meeting? If so, where is everyone going to stay and what are we going to do for a week? I'll do whatever you decide but my vote is to meet outside of Maine where flights are cheaper for most people. We also need specific dates. Oh, by the way, thanks for putting this together.
