Pictures anyone

Hey everyone! It was great seeing everyone at the reunion and I think we all had a blast. I set up an account so that we can share our photos. Go to http://www.cyrreunion.shutterfly.com and the password is the name of the town where we had the reunion. This is our own personal link and will allow us to view all the wonderful pictures that were taken. This may take a whole day, especially if Tim downloads all the pictures he took, but it should be a lot of fun and good memories.
To download your pictures to this site, look at the bottom right hand side of the website and you will see a link for "Contribute pictures to this Collection". Click on "add new album" and you are on your way to setting up your new album. If we can have everyone name the album with the cousin's name it will help keep everything organized. Please look at the tip below before starting. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to contact me.

Tip for downloading pictures: Look for the "Shutterfly studio" program, which should be found on the download your pictures page. I highly recommend downloading this program prior to adding your pictures. This will allow you to select and download all of your pictures at once, instead of 5-10 at a time.

Sorry I missed out!!

Well, by the sound of things I can't wait to get back together. I really wish that I could have made it this year, but living in Germany with the family (Carmen wife, Justin 9 and Bailey 3) can get pretty expensive to fly home. We do plan on moving back state side very soon, so I will make the trip to Madawaska before you know it. I will keep an eye on the Blog site for any updated pictures that you all have taken. I know that my mom said that she had a CD she would like to burn for me, but on the other hand she is not very technologically incline.
Love you all and miss you very much. I just find it so hard to believe it has been so many years and I would really like for my kids to see a real family gathering is all about.

A big thank you to Doug, Kevin and whomever else helped plan this family reunion. I had a wonderful time talking to you all and catching up on memories..... I can't believe the weekend has already come and gone. I guess the Acadian Festival will host a CYR Family Reunion in 2011 (30yrs after the last one). So let everyone know that was not there this weekend what a great time we had and that there will be another party down the road. 5 years will be here before you know it! I can't wait to see pictures.

I just wanted to let you all know how excited I am to meet you all. I have always enjoyed be aroung large families as I only have one brother. I hear so much about all of you. Little antedotes here and there from Isaac. I have heard many stories about the bon fire. Hope it is still going strong when we arrive. We will not get to Madawaska until about 9:30 pm on June 30th. Our whole family is looking forward to the trip and seeing everyone. We have a boy Caleb who is almost 4 and a daughter Olivia who is 5 months. Caleb asks everyday when we are going to Pepere's house. He has started counting down the days. See you all soon!!!!!!

5 weeks left!!!!!!

Hi everyone, this is your cousin, Chantal, the daughter of "Ti-Guy". I am a Cyr Blog Junkie. I check this site at least 20 times a day to see who else might have RSVP'D or if anyone has posted. Can you tell I am excited? Last I counted we were I think 45 first cousins (and who knows how many 2nd cousins) I see 25 of us have signed up, where are the rest of you?????

I am guilty of not posting a little something about my self but I just had my third son (I am following in the steps of my two great aunts Nen and Bet or maybe Memere??) and life is a little crazy to say the least. My other children are 2 and 3 so there are no dull moments in this house.

I can't wait for the reunion. Thank you Doug and Kevin for making this happen. I have very fond memories of our family get togethers in Madawaska. The tarzan swing (Even though we can't use it I hope we can get to it) I've only been telling my husband about this huge pit with a swing for 10 years. I bet now that we are older that "pit" won't seem as big. Waiting for the "boys" to arrive from Nova Scotia in the blue van, volleyball tournaments on Mon Oncle Joel's lawn, Christmas Eve at Mon Oncle Johnny's, potluck at Memere's for Sunday lunch, the list goes on...So hard to believe we are adults and have children of our own. I feel as though nothing is quite as fun anymore. Will my children say the same thing when they get older? Probably, this is life, we grow up and have responsibilities.

I hope to see you ALL in about 5 short weeks, if you haven't RSVP'd Kevin's list HURRY UP, I am waiting to see who else is coming!!! Not to make you feel guilty but think of the nice group photo that could be taken of Memere with her grandkids..PRICELESS
